Where is Stephen Carr now?

After a 20 year career in which he played for three high profile clubs, Stephen Carr retired from playing at the end of the 2012-13 season whilst with Birmingham City.

Highly regarded at the three Premier League teams he played for, Carr is held in particular high esteem with the Birmingham City fans after leading his team to ninth place in the Premier League in 2009-10 and a Carling Cup final win in 2010.

The club wanted him to stay on in a coaching capacity but Carr decided to move to Spain where he could concentrate on his business ventures.

He is currently a major shareholder in the Sala Group which owns a range of high end bars and beach clubs in Marbella, Spain.
