Where is Stephen Carr now?
After a 20-year playing career in which he played for three high profile clubs, Stephen Carr retired from playing at the end of the 2012-13 season whilst with Birmingham City.
Highly regarded at the three Premier League teams he played for, he is held in particular high-esteem with the Birmingham fans after leading his team to ninth place in the Premier League in 2009-10 and a Carling Cup final win in 2010.
He also won the League Cup with Spurs in 1999, the UEFA Intertoto Cup with Newcastle United in 2006 and also represented the Republic of Ireland on the international stage winning 44 caps.

Upon retiring from playing Birmingham City offered Carr to stay on in a coaching capacity but he declined the offer and moved to Spain where he could concentrate on his business ventures.
He is currently a major shareholder in the Sala Group with former team-mates David Bentley and David Murphy which own a range of high-end bars and beach clubs in Marbella, Spain.
