Where is Patrik Berger now?
Liverpool FC legend Patrik Berger was unfortunately beset with injuries throughout his career and ended up officially retiring on 6 January 2010 after a couple of seasons with Sparta Prague.
Mainly playing as an attacking midfielder or winger, Berger was known largely for his surging runs and powerful striking left foot and he won both the FA Cup and the UEFA Cup during his seven-years at the club

Since retiring from playing professionally, Berger has been involved in various tournaments across the globe for the Liverpool legends team and also in the Premier League Masters.
He also works for the club as an ambassador helping promote the Liverpool brand abroad as well as working with some of the club’s charity partners.
In May 2016, Patrik Berger was signed up by television company Stadium Astro as a match analyst for their Euro 2016 coverage and has since appeared on a variety of football shows across the globe.
In 2017 Liverpool enlisted the help of Berger and his daughter to model the club’s new range of winter garments.
In the same year Berger was signed up by Playon as one of their ambassadors. Founded by former England international Viv Anderson Playon is a global network of sports professionals which provide ex-players with an opportunity to keep earning and maintaining their value in retirement.
The network also assists with some of the main issues ex-professionals are faced with when they retire from professional sports such as depression and anxiety.
