Where is Neil Sullivan now?
Former Premier League goalkeeper Neil Sullivan finally retired from playing at the age of 42 after spells in the lower leagues with Doncaster Rovers and AFC Wimbledon.
Starting his career with Wimbledon in 1988 he went onto make over 650 first team appearances for six teams winning the Football League Trophy and the League One title during his time at Doncaster.
He was also a full Scotland international winning 28 caps and was part of the squad that went to the 1998 FIFA World Cup finals.
Upon hanging up his gloves Sullivan was offered an ambassadorial role at Doncaster but turned it down in favour of a goalkeeping coach role at Leeds United’s academy.
For the 2014-15 season he was promoted to first team goalkeeping coach but he returned to his academy role in the summer of 2015 where he has remained ever since.
