Mikkel Beck

Where is Mikkel Beck now?

A member of Bryan Robson’s exciting but under-achieving Middlesbrough team of the late nineties, Mikkel Beck retired from playing in 2002 after a spell back in his native Denmark with Superliga side AaB.

Starting his professional career in 1992 with Danish side B1909, he went onto make over 300 first-team appearances for eight different teams including a spell in France with Lille and Germany with Fortuna Koln.

He is best known to Premier League fans for his time playing at Middlesbrough where he was joined by a number of world-class stars which were attracted to the club by manager Bryan Robson including Fabrizio Ravanelli, Emerson and Juninho.

On the international stage he represented the Denmark national side on 19 occasions between 1995 and 2000 and was part of the 1996 UEFA European Championships squad.

Upon retiring from playing professional football, Beck started a new career as a football agent, starting his Beckster International agency with one client in 2004 which has since expanded considerably and now represents some of the best players in the world.
