Where is Mick Quinn now?
Former striker Mick Quinn retired from playing in 1996 after a spell playing in Greece for PAOK Thessaloniki.
Over his 17-year career, Quinn played in over 600 first-team games for nine different clubs and scored over 200 goals.
Although he had a relatively short spell in the Premier League with Coventry City it was an explosive one with 25 goals in 64 appearances including 10 in his first six games.
Upon retiring from playing Quinn pursued a career as a racehorse trainer and currently has his own stables in Newmarket.
He also does a lot of broadcasting work including working on radio station talkSPORT’s breakfast show as well as writing a weekly column about Newcastle United for the Newcastle Chronicle.
In 2006, Quinn was one of eight contestants on ITV’s Celebrity Fit Club and ended up winning the show after losing four stones and eight pounds.
He is also a highly sought after figure on the after dinner speaking circuit.
