Georgi Kinkladze

Where is Georgi Kinkladze now?

One of the most skilful playmakers to have appeared in the English Premier League, Georgi Kinkladze retired in 2006 whilst playing for Ruben Kazan in the Russian Premier League.

Over a 17-year career, he made over 400 appearances for eight different clubs in countries such as Germany, Argentina, Holland, Cyprus and Russia.

He was also the stand-out player of the Georgia national side in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s making 54 appearances and scoring eight goals.

Since retiring from playing he has been involved in a variety of business activities including working as a football agent in Russia specialising in players from the English Premier League.

He also spent time as sporting director of former club Anorthosis who play in the Cypriot league.

Kinkladze also owns a chain of leisure centres across Europe as well as a number of vineyards in his native Georgia where he produces and exports white and red wine as well as prosecco and whiskey.
