Where is Frank Leboeuf now?

One of the first wave of foreign players to ply their trade in the Premier League with Chelsea, Frank Leboeuf finally retired from playing after two seasons in Qatar.

A stellar domestic career saw him win a number of trophies including the FA Cup twice, the League Cup, the UEFA Super Cup and the UEFA Cup Winner’s Cup.

He also enjoyed huge international success with the France national team and was a member of the FIFA 1998 World Cup and UEFA 2000 European Championship winning squads.

Upon retiring from playing Leboeuf moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting which was his first passion as a child.

After spending two years at acting school he moved back to his native France and acted in a number of theatre plays before landing a couple of cameo roles in major films including the Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything.

In 2010 he was a contestant on French reality survival show Koh Lanta but had to leave after two weeks due to a back injury suffered two weeks previous to joining the show.

Leboeuf has now forged a career as a highly-respected pundit and analyst and has worked for a number of broadcasters including French radio station RMC and the US-based ESPN.

He also worked for France’s free-to-air channel TF1 for the 2016 European Championships alongside former international team mate Youri Djorkaeff.

Jade, his daughter from his first marriage, is a Los Angeles based model.
