Where is Francesco Baiano now?
Regarded by Derby County fans as one of their greatest ever imports, Francesco Baiano retired from playing in 2009 after a short spell as player/manager of Italian fourth division side Sansovino.
During his time at Derby County, Baiano hit 16 goals in 64 appearances and was named as their player of the year in 1998.

In retirement Baiano pursued a career in football coaching and linked up with experienced head coach Giuseppe Sannino as his main assistant at Italian sides Varese, Siena and Palermo.
After two spells with Palermo, Baiano and Sannino linked up once again at Chievo Roma in July 2013 but they left the club after only five months in November 2013.
In 2014, Baiano joined Serie D side Scandicci as first team coach but left after a year after a string of poor league results.
A year later, Baiano was appointed as manager of Serie D side Varese, a team which he had worked for before as an assistant.
Unfortunately, he was sacked in March 2017 despite a reasonable mid-table postition.
