Where is DJ Campbell now?
The much-travelled striker DJ Campbell retired from playing in 2015 after a spell in the lower leagues with Maidenhead United.
Although he played for both Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City in the Premier League, Campbell had his best season at Blackpool during their EPL campaign of 2010-11 where he scored 13 goals in 31 games and finished the club’s top scorer.
Unfortunately his career didn’t kick on from that season and he found himself playing for Championship sides until he ended up at Maidenhead United in 2014.
After earning £25,000 per week during his time at Blackburn Rovers he ended up playing for Maidenhead United for free to try to rekindle his love for the game after he was cleared of match-fixing in August 2014.
Upon retiring from playing he opened a customised handmade jewelery shop in Hatton Garden, London called Seattle Gold but this has since folded.
He has kept a low profile in recent years and there is no up to date on what he is doing now.
