Where is Darren Bent now?

Former Premier League striker Darren Bent retired from playing in 2019 after spending a year without a club after he was released by Derby County at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Starting his professional career at Ipswich Town in 2001 he finished up having made 568 first team appearances and scoring 217 goals for nine different clubs including Tottenham Hotspur with whom he won the League Cup with in 2008.

He also played for the England national side between 2006 and 2011 making 13 appearances and scoring four goals.

Upon retiring from playing Bent has forged a new career in the media and currently works as a pundit for talkSPORT as well as making the odd appearance on Sky Sports.
