Where is Danny Gabbidon now?
An immensely talented defender who played in all four English leagues, Danny Gabbidon retired from playing professionally in 2015 after he was released from Cardiff City.
Gabbidon was signed by the Welsh side on a one year player/coach contract and had a spell as the club’s interim manager for five games when manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was sacked during his time there.
In a career which spanned 17 years he played in over 400 domestic games for six clubs as well as making 49 appearances for the Wales national side.
In retirement, Gabbidon has moved into the media world and has worked as a pundit and match analyst for various broadcasters including the BBC and Sky Sports as well as on the radio with talkSPORT.
He also works as a player consultant and mentor for sports management agency New Era Global Sports Management.
