Claus Jensen

Where is Claus Jensen now?

An influential member of Charlton Athletic’s Premier League side of the early 2000’s, Claus Jensen retired from playing in 2007 after three injury-plagued seasons with Fulham.

In a career that only spanned 12 years, Jensen still made over 300 first-team appearances scoring over 40 goals.

He was also a regular member of the Denmark national side of the early 2000’s and represented them on 47 occasions.

Upon retiring from playing Jensen returned to his native Denmark and spent time working as a commentator and match analyst for Danish TV channel 6’eren’s Premier League coverage.

In 2015, Jensen and two other Danish celebrities invested in Danish lower-league side Nykobing with a view to get the side promoted to the Danish Superliga by 2020.

They have since changed the vision and aim to get the club there by 2022 and Jensen has now been appointed as manager
