Where is Bryan Roy now?
Although Bryan Roy only turned out for Nottingham Forest on 84 occasions in the Premier League he had a big impact on the club’s success in the mid 90’s largely due to his partnership with Stan Collymore.
He retired from playing in 2002 after returning to his native Holland with NAC Breda.
Starting his career with Ajax in 1988, he played for five clubs including spells with Foggia in Italy and Hertha Berlin in Germany making over 350 first team appearances in total.
He also represented the Netherlands national side on 32 occasions and played in both the 1990 and 1994 FIFA World Cups as well as the 1992 UEFA European Championships.
Upon retiring from playing Roy spent 13 years working at former side Ajax’s academy with their youth team and reserve team manager.
He is now pursuing other coaching interests.
