Where is Ashley Cole now?

One of the finest left-backs of his generation, former Arsenal and Chelsea defender Ashley Cole retired from playing after a brief spell in the Championship with Derby County.

Starting his career in 1999 with The Gunners he went onto make over 700 first team appearances for six sides including spells in Italy with Roma and in the United States with LA Galaxy.

He won a number of trophies over the 19 seasons he played professionally including three Premier League titles, seven FA Cup wins, the League Cup, the UEFA Champions League and also the Europa League.

Cole is also the England national team’s most-capped full-back with 107 caps and he represented his country at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup finals and the 2004 and 2012 European Championships.

Upon retiring from playing he has gone into coaching and currently works at former side Chelsea as coach of their academy under-15’s side.
