The Indian Super League (ISL) may only last for two months each year but it has attracted its
fair share of former Premier League stars and Tim Cahill is the latest player to take the division by storm.
The Aussie was known for many things during his time at Goodison Park, but it was his outstanding ability in the air which helped endear him to Toffees fans.

Even at the age of 38, Cahill appears to have lost none of that aerial prowess and was recently
seen leaping majestically to nod home a third-minute corner which gave his new side Jamshedpur FC an early lead against the Kerala Blasters.
Unfortunately, the Socceroos all-time leading goalscorer couldn’t help his side clinch all three points with the visitors netting twice in the second half to earn themselves a draw.
It was Cahill’s first goal for his latest employers and it helped them maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.
His club debut was delayed by a suspension which he had incurred when playing in the Championship for Millwall but since returning from the ban, he’s hit the ground running.
He got a rousing reception and told reporters that he was ‘overwhelmed’ by the supporters’ reaction.
His time at Goodison Park was a successful one with 56 goals in 226 appearances. One of the
remarkable statistics surrounding Cahill’s time in the North West of England is that 31 of
those efforts (55%) were headers.
Following his arrival, he made an instant impact and was voted ‘player of the season’ by the fans despite it being his first season at the club.
Still regarded as a cult hero, he helped Everton to reach their first cup quarter-final in five years
and his penchant for finding the net in the Merseyside derby will forever make him an

Everton fans still hold Tim Cahill in extremely high regard but they currently have a new favourite in the shape of Richarlison.
The former Watford man was signed this summer and has netted four times already this season.
He’s also claimed a number of assists this campaign and appears to have developed an understanding with Gylfi Sigurdsson.
With three wins in their last four games heading into November, Toffees fans are beginning to look up the table and they can still be backed at 10/1 for a top six finish in the outright Premier League betting markets this season.
Meanwhile, Richarlison is a 66/1 outsider to finish as the top goalscorer this season.
Cahill continues to defy his 38 years and appears to be enjoying life in the Indian Super League. His trademark celebration remains intact and Jamshedpur fans are hoping that it won’t be the last time that the Aussie is seen wheeling away towards the corner flag.
Toffees fans are likely to be keeping a keen eye on his progress in India with the Socceroo looking almost as fit and sharp as he did in an Everton shirt.
