Mark Schwarzer

Where is Mark Schwarzer now?

Legendary Australian goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer finally hung up his gloves at the end of the 2015-16 Premier League season having won the league title with Leicester City.

He was 43-years-old when he retired making him one of the oldest players to have ever played in the Premier League.

Schwarzer had previously experienced Premier League title success with Chelsea with whom he played for between 2013 and 2015.

Although he didn’t play any games during the title-winning season and therefore didn’t qualify for a medal, Blues manager Jose Mourinho arranged for a replica medal for his contributions over the season.
