Jerzy Dudek #One2Eleven (4-3-3 Formation)

Darius Vassell was a guest on Sky Sports programme The Fantasy Football Club in May 2016 where he picked the eleven best players he had ever played with in their #One2Eleven section of the show.

GK – Iker Casillas – a nice guy and Jerzy Dudek One2Elevenjust simply the best goalkeeper during my time. A European Cup and World Cup winner.

RB – Sergio Ramos –such a great offensive player. I loved watching him play.

LB – John Arne Riise – a really good person with a fantastic left foot on him. The guy never stopped running.

CB – Sami Hyypia – a lovely simple guy – just cool!

CB – Jamie Carragher – a fantastic, committed character who was great in the dressing room.

CM – Steven Gerrard – has to be the captain of my team. Great inspiration, motivating and was the man who could change the game.

CM – Xavi Alonso – I can’t have a team without him. Fantastic passer and scorer of goals.

AM – Cristiano Ronaldo – a model professional who always prepared himself well for big games. Also a good motivator in the dressing room.

ST – Michael Owen – could score goals from any position but very good in the penalty area.

ST – Ruud van Nistelrooy – we have been friends from the days when we both played in Holland. A fantastic finisher.

ST – Raul – a great captain who always had something positive to say in the dressing room.
