Where is Dean Sturridge now?

Derby County’s top scorer in the Premier League, Dean Sturridge retired from playing in 2007 whilst at Kidderminster Harriers.

Playing for 16 years, he made over 300 first-team appearances for six different clubs, the majority of which were for the Rams.

Since retiring from playing Sturridge has been working in broadcasting and had a season co-commentating on Derby County games for BBC Radio Derby before leaving to focus on a coaching career.

He now works as a commentator across various sports networks including beIN Sports, Sky Sports and NBC.

He is the uncle of Liverpool and England striker Daniel Sturridge and his son DJ Sturridge is currently playing for Aston Villa’s academy and is regarded as a future prospect.
