Where is David Howells now?
Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder David Howells was forced to retire in 2000 at the age of 32 after a persistent knee injury but still ended his career having made over 300 first team appearances for three clubs, winning the FA Cup in 1991
Since retiring from playing Howells has stayed on in the football industry and has run holiday resort-based soccer schools as well as having an involvement with Guildford City where he was director of football and occasional player.
Howells was also a director of sports coaching company PSD until he left in March 2017 to work as director of football at Charterhouse School in Godalming.
He also worked as head coach at sports and entertainment agency Playerworks / CSM during his time at Charterhouse, expanding his role to mentoring and performance analyst in July 2017
Howells left Charterhouse School in June 2018 and continues his work at CSM.
