Upon retiring from playing, Peacock moved to Portugal where he ran a small property company for five years before moving back to the UK where he joined non-league side Lancaster City in April 2013.

In 2014 he recruited former Queens Park Rangers team mate Trevor Sinclair as his assistant manager but after a disappointing start to the 2015-16 season, the pair left the club by mutual consent saying that they felt they had taken the club as far as they could.

Peacock now works as director of football at The North Lancs & District Development Centre which aims to bring together the best boys and girls from the area to create football squads that can compete with other districts & academies.
