Where is Danny Higginbotham now?

An integral part of the Stoke City team which firmly established themselves in the Premier League, Danny Higginbotham retired from playing in March 2014 after spells with Chester and Altrincham.

Since retiring Higginbotham has rapidly made a name for himself in football broadcasting with regular appearances on PLTV, talkSPORT, BBC 5 Live, BT Sport and Sky Sports.

In 2015 Danny Higginbotham released his autobiography Rise of the Underdog: My Life Inside Football

He is also a columnist for the Stoke Sentinel newspaper and The Independent.

He previously wrote a column for the Manchester Evening News.

Higginbotham will be appearing on Sky Sports News every Friday during the 2016-17 season previewing all of the weekend’s games as well as working for The Sun newspaper in a similar role.
