Carl Bradshaw

Where is Carl Bradshaw now?

Former Sheffield United captain, Carl Bradshaw retired from playing in 2005 after playing non-league football with Alfreton Town.

Starting his career in 1986 with rivals Sheffield Wednesday, he went onto make over 450 professional first team appearances for seven clubs winning the Football League Trophy during his time with Wigan Athletic in 1999.

In retirement he has stayed away from the game and has instead started a new career as a qualified bricklayer in his native Sheffield.

Over the years Bradshaw has done the occasional after dinner speaking event regaling some funny tales of his playing days but these are appearances are few and far between.
