Where is Vinnie Jones now?
A controversial but much-loved figure within the game, Vinnie Jones finished his playing days in 1999 after a brief spell at Queens Park Rangers.
Starting his professional playing career at Wimbledon in 1986 he went onto make over 500 first team appearances for five clubs winning the FA Cup with The Dons in 1988.
He also represented Wales on the international stage winning nine caps between 1994 and 1997.
Since retiring from playing Jones has forged a successful career in the movie industry, featuring in a number of hit films such as “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” and “Snatch”.
He also founded and still plays for the Hollywood All Stars football team which is a team made up of actors and ex-professionals.
Jones has also appeared in a some popular British television shows including the 2010 edition of Celebrity Big Brother where he finished third behind Dane Bowers and Alex Reid as well as Celebrity X-Factor.
In 2016 it was revealed that he had entered the carpet selling business with his childhood friend Danny Deacon in a venture called Deacon Jones.
Based in Hemel Hempstead not far from where he grew up, the pair’s company sell super-tough carpets and play on Jones’ hard man image within their advertising and promotion.
