Where is Steve Finnan now?
An integral member of the Liverpool team which won numerous trophies between 2004 and 2006, Steve Finnan retired from football whilst playing for Portsmouth in 2010.
Finnan has the enviable record of being the only player to have played in the World Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, Intertoto Cup, all four levels of the English league football and the Football Conference.
Since retiring from playing Finnan has stayed away from the game and has been focusing on his business interests which includes a property development company called Finnan Developments.
It was also reported that he had spent time in the Gambia working on charitable projects.
Steve Finnan won a number of trophies during his club career including the FA Cup with Portsmouth and Liverpool, the Champions League and the League Cup.

He also represented the Republic of Ireland on 52 occasions which included four appearances at the 2002 World Cup Finals in South Korea and Japan.
In May 2015 The Liverpool Echo newspaper launched a campaign to find Steve Finnan as he was the only member of the 2005 Champions League winning team that they could not locate for a forthcoming 10 year anniversary reunion.
The mystery was solved after The Irish Independent newspaper’s Dan McDonnell made a few enquiries.
Dan said, “Steve Finnan’s in London, enjoying life out of the limelight and not seeking any form of post-football fame or media work or anything like that. I believe he’s pretty contented and happy about that.”
