Where is Ruel Fox now?
Former Premier League winger Ruel Fox hung up his boots in 2002 at the age of 34 after helping West Bromwich Albion win promotion to the top flight.
Starting his professional career in 1986 with Norwich City he went onto make over 400 first-team players over a 16-year period for four clubs including Newcastle United where he was a member of Kevin Keegan’s team known as ‘The Entertainers’ which finished third in the Premier League in 1994.
Upon retiring from playing, Fox had a brief spell coaching the Monserrat national team as well as scouting for players in England that were eligible to play for the tiny Carribean island.
He also owned a restaurant in Ipswich but now concentrates on his boot camp business which he owns and operates out of non-league side Whitton United where he is also chairman.
Fox also occasionally works on the after-dinner speaking circuit as part of the Newcastle Legends which organises events and personal appearances from ex Magpies players.
He has recently been working as a co-commentator for Norwich City games on local radio.
