Where is Paul Rideout now?

Former Everton legend Paul Rideout retired in 2002 after seeing out his career playing in the lower leagues with Tranmere Rovers.

Over a 22-year career, he featured for a number of clubs across the globe including spells in Italy with Bari, in Scotland with Rangers and the United States with Kansas City Wizards. He ended his playing days having made over 600 appearances and scoring over 150 goals.

He will be forever remembered by Everton fans for scoring the winning goal in the 1-0 win over Manchester United in the 1995 FA Cup final

Upon retiring from playing Rideout went into the coaching side of the game and joined former club Tranmere Rovers’ youth academy as a coach before moving to the United States in 2007.

He is currently the head coach of the under-15’s and under 16’s at Real Salt Lake AZ (RSL AZ) having previously been head coach of the U13, U16, and U19 teams. Prior to RSL AZ, Rideout was the head coach for Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City U.S. Soccer Development Academy U16 and U18 teams for five years and was a coach for Sporting Blue Valley where he won more than 15 Kansas State Championships in 15 years.
