Where is Mike Sheron now?

After a 15 year career playing at all levels of professional football, Mike Sheron retired in 2005 after a short spell in non league football with Warrington Town.

Sheron stayed on at the club in a coaching capacity until 2007 when he joined Bury as their youth team manager.

He stayed with Bury for three years before pursuing other coaching roles including a spell as under 15’s coach at Oldham Athletic.

In July 2011 Sheron was appointed as under 13’s academy coach at Liverpool where he stayed until 2013 before joining Rotherham as the head of their academy.

Sheron left his role at Rotherham in March 2015 and joined Blackburn Rovers as their Lead Youth Development Coach and under 16’s manager within their academy.
