Where is Mike Milligan now?
Legendary Oldham Athletic player Mike Milligan finally hung up his boots in 2002 after a spell in the lower leagues with Blackpool ending a career that spanned nearly 20 years.
Starting at The Latics in 1985 he went onto make over 500 first team appearances for four clubs winning the Football League Trophy and promotion from the old Division Three during his time with Blackpool.
Upon retiring from playing Milligan went to work for a corporate events company before returning to football in 2010 with Yeovil Town for a two year spell as head of player recruitment.
He also worked as a sports consultant for Soccer Scene Elite which was part of the Sports Direct Group and ProSport Global.
Since 2018 he has been working as a sports ambassador for water company Wet Global Ltd.
