Where is Henrik Pedersen now?

A fan’s favourite due to his workrate and versatility, Henrik Pedersen retired from playing professional football in 2012 after returning to Denmark to spend his last years at former club Silkeborg FC.

Starting his playing career in 2000 he went onto make over 400 first-team appearances for just three teams over a 17-year period, including three spells at Silkeborg where he won the Danish Cup in 2001.

Since retiring from playing Pedersen has studied for his UEFA coaching badges with a view to coaching at some point however at the moment he has opted to take some time out of the game.

Pedersen currently owns and manages a sports bar in Silkeborg, Denmark called Målet, which translates in English as “The Goal”. He is also a co-owner of Green’s Gastronomy, an a la carte restaurant also located in Silkeborg.
