Where is Efan Ekoku now?

Former Premier League striker Efan Ekoku retired from playing in 2004 after a spell in Ireland with Dublin City.

Starting his professional football career in 1990 with Bournemouth, he went onto make over 300 first-team appearances, scoring over 100 goals for seven clubs including a spell in Switzerland with Grasshoppers.

He also represented the Nigeria national side where he won 20 caps and was a member of the successful 1994 African Cup of Nations side. 

Upon retiring from playing Ekoku has moved into broadcasting and has been working as a freelance sports broadcaster and commentator sharing his knowledge and expertise on many stations including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and ESPN.

He has also obtained all of his FA and UEFA coaching badges although he is yet to go into coaching.
