Where is David Wetherall now?

Having spent his entire career in Yorkshire, David Wetherall finished his playing days at Bradford City in 2008 when he moved into a coaching role at the club.

His first role was coaching the club’s reserves and then in 2009 he combined this role with managing the youth teams at the club.

Wetherall left Bradford City in 2011 to take on the job as head of youth development for the Football League but he still remains close to the club he once captained.

Wetherall was also the first professional footballer to attain a first class degree back in 1992 whilst still playing full time.
