Brian Borrows

Where is Brian Borrows now?

A Coventry City legend, former defender Brian Borrows retired from playing in 1999 after two seasons playing at Swindon Town.

Making over 700 appearances in a career that lasted 19 seasons, Borrows played the majority of his football at Highfield Road where he played over 400 times over a 12-year period.

Upon retiring from playing he spent time coaching the academy sides at Coventry City and Derby County before working in his current role as a regional coach for the PFA in the Midlands.

In December 2014 he was brought in by former Coventry City team mate Liam Daish to assist him at Nuneaton Town but although the pair turned the team into a more competitive side, it wasn’t enough to prevent relegation for their side after three seasons in the National Conference and they left the club shortly after relegation was confirmed.
