Where is Anders Limpar now?

One of the few foreigners who were playing in England when the Premier League first started in 1992, Anders Limpar hung up his boots in 2000 after a spell in the United States with MLS side Colorado Rapids.

During his seven-year spell in England he won a number of trophies including the First Division title, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the UEFA Cup Winner’s Cup with Arsenal as well as the FA Cup with Everton.

He was also an important member of the Sweden national side, representing them on 58 occasions and was part of the team that finished third in the 1994 FIFA World Cup finals.

Upon retiring from playing professional football, Limpar made the move into coaching and had a spell coaching the youth side at Djurgårdens IF before moving to Swedish second division side Sollentuna United as their assistant manager.

Leaving his football coaching to pursue his business interests, Limpar opened a bar in Stockholm called The Limp Bar and also founded a betting website. Both have now closed.

In 2015 he starred in and won Swedish reality television show The Great Adventure which pitches celebrities against the Swedish wilderness.

He is currently a director of Prorector which sells Swedish products into the lucrative Asian markets.
