About Premier League Heroes
Premier League Heroes was created by two football fans who were fed up of constantly referring to Google when talking (or thinking) about former players who graced the English Premier League.
We wanted a “one stop shop”, which would list players by team that could quell our thirst for knowledge. We also wanted a resource which was more accurate and updated more frequently than Wikipedia.
Created in 2012, Premier League Heroes originally focused on the teams that had enjoyed more than a couple of campaigns in the league.
When we started to get requests from Swindon Town, Barnsley and Bradford City fans asking what had happened to some of their favourite players we decided to dedicate a page to every team that has ever graced this wonderful league.
We are constantly updating player information on the website and adding new players every day.
Whilst we attempt to ensure that all information on the website is 100% accurate we are more than happy to amend a player’s profile if one of our legions of readers highlight a discrepancy.
We are also more than happy for visitors of the site to recommend players to add but they must have played at least 20 games in the Premier League for inclusion.
Please use the Contact Page for any player recommendations
