Where is Robbie Earle now?
Former Premier League midfielder Robbie Earle finally retired from the game in 2000 after nine seasons with Wimbledon.
Starting his career with Port Vale in 1982 he went onto make over 700 first team appearances for just the two teams winning three promotions in the mid 1980’s during his spell with The Valiants.
He was also a Jamaica international player and represented his country on eight occasions and played in the 1998 FIFA World Cup finals.
Upon retiring from playing Earle started a new career in the media, mainly as a pundit for ITV. Unfortunately he was dismissed from his role during the 2010 World Cup after he passed his ticket allocation to a third party.
He still appears in print and on the radio and had a spell as a television broadcast analyst for MLS side Portland Timbers before joining US channel NBC Sports Network as a Premier League commentator.
He also writes a column for the Stoke Sentinel as well as presenting a podcast on NBC Sports Radio with Robbie Mustoe.
